You can really relax with a week or more at Church Farm Cottage Happisburgh, but there’s just so much more than just 2 nights can give you.
Assuming you’ve exhausted our weekenders guide, you can also enjoy the other choices of local restaurants, to dinner made in our well equipped kitchen, or fish and chips on our sun deck, and front garden dining area. You can even do a spot of star gazing. Happisburgh’s position on the coast can offer some breathtaking night time views of the night sky, and sometimes a rare glimpse of the northern lights as the village juts out into the North Sea on the very Northeastern tip of East Anglia. There are plenty of local delights you may have missed like East Ruston gardens, or simply one of the local walks, through fields or along the cliffs.
Nearby villages like Mundesley offer more restaurants and yes fish and chips, and the Gunton Arms isn’t too far away.. the small market town of North Walsham and the restaurants and pubs of Stalham and Wroxham, and of course Norwich itself has a lot to offer. You have other parts of the Northern Broads not too far if you’ve already tried the main ones. Try the famous sausages of nearby Ailsham as well as the Blickling National Trust estate (it even has a Parkrun event). Then there are the main attractions of the North Norfolk coast all within about an hours drive, like Cromer, Hunstanton, and Wells-next-the-Sea.
Do of course check out our other guides.
