Directions to Church Farm Cottage

Church Farm Cottage, Blacksmiths Lane, Happisburgh, Norfolk, NR12 0QY

 

From London, avoiding Norwich, and a lot of back routes:

This route is best divided into roughly three sections:

1st - Take the M11 North, turn off for Newmarket A11 before Cambridge

2nd - Continue on the A11 Northeast through Thetford and up to a big roundabout just before Norwich, take the A47 exit signed for Great Yarmouth

3rd - Continue until you reach the Eastern Norwich bypass road signed for Norwich Airport, and head north

  • Continue until you eventuall reach the roundabout with an exit to Wroxham, proceed East on this road through Wroxham and beyond.

  • Turn left onto Stepping Stone Lane before you reach Stalham (the B1159), then left again onto the coast road

  • Eventually you will reach a crossroads with the option to turn right (East) onto North Walsham Road towards Happisburgh (or left towards North Walsham - don’t go that way).

  • Follow the road until you reach Blacksmith’s Lane, and then turn left onto it. 

  • When the road forks right by the duckpond (right), turn left onto the farm track by the field.

  • The Cottage is the first opening on the left, onto a small section of driveway which is our neighbours, then left again into the open gated parking space. Please don't stop or unload on the neighbour’s driveway.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please consider other residents particularly when parking. There is one parking space available only, in the grounds, two on the verge near the American style postbox, and more parking up Blacksmith's lane a little further in the community car park behind the bowling green (Wenn Evans Centre). As mentioned please do not unload on the neighbours driveway in any circumstances as we like to keep them happy and we only have right of way over it.
