If you have chosen to arrive at Church Farm Cottage via Norwich: Leave the Norwich ring road on the A1151 Wroxham Road. Stay on this road through Wroxham / Hoveton and continue towards Stalham. Just to the Norwich side of Stalham the A1151 becomes the A149 and you will then pass a ‘Total’ garage and ‘Meale's’ farm shop (both on your left), shortly after these there is a junction to the left marked with a yellow sign for ‘Happisburgh’. Take this left turn (this is ‘Stepping Stone Lane’). Travel 0.6m to a T-junction. Turn left onto the B1159 for ‘Walcott and Bacton’. Stay on this road for 3.3m ignoring initial signs for Happisburgh. Turn right at a crossroads, which is marked left to ‘Ridlington’ and right to ‘Happisburgh’. Continue along this road for 1m until you come to a sharp right-hand bend (marked with black and white chevrons). Turn left at the bend into ‘Blacksmiths Lane’. The second entrance on the left is for Church Farm Cottage.

If you have chosen to arrive at Church Farm Cottage via the A148 road (Kings Lynn - Fakenham - Holt - Cromer) you can avoid potential delays in Cromer Town Centre by using the following route: From Holt follow the A148 for Cromer passing through the villages of High Kelling, Bodham and Aylmerton, passing the ‘Roman Camp Inn’ on your right. 1.1 miles beyond the Roman Camp Inn turn right signposted for North Walsham (B1436) and Norwich (A140). Follow this road for 2.9 miles through Felbrigg and into Roughton. When you reach the first mini-roundabout turn right. At the second mini-roundabout turn left for North Walsham. Follow this road for 1.3 miles to a crossroads. Turn right for North Walsham and Gt Yarmouth. After entering North Walsham you pass under a railway bridge and need to be in the lefthand lane at the traffic lights to go straight marked for the Town Centre. At the next traffic lights go straight again. Follow the sharp right-hand bend and then turn left (almost immediately) into the Market Place. Pass straight through the Market Place to a T-junction opposite the post office and turn left onto New Road. Follow this road out of North Walsham past the fire station and library. The road becomes the Happisburgh Road after the first right-hand bend. Continue on this road passing through the villages of Whitehorse Common and Ridlington. After leaving Ridlington you reach a crossroads on the main coast road. Pass straight across at this crossroads marked for Happisburgh. Continue along this road for 1m until you come to a sharp right-hand bend (marked with black and white chevrons). Turn left at the bend into ‘Blacksmiths Lane’. The second entrance on the left is for Church Farm Cottage. Please consider other residents when entering / leaving Church Farm Cottage and be particularly vigilant as there may be children in the parking area.
